Mark Brunell
Mark Brunnell played college football at the University of Washington. He earned the starting job in his sophomore year and led the Huskies to a Pac-10 championship and Rose Bowl victory. He was injured prior to his junior year and did not regain the starting job until just a few games remained in his college career. He was drafted in the fifth round by the Green Bay Packers in 1991.
Brunell rarely played with the Packers but was traded prior to the 1995 season to the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he was the regular starter for most of the next 9 seasons. He then played 3 years for the Washington Redskins before serving as a seldom used backup for the New Orleans Saints and the New York Jets. He finished his career with 78 wins and 73 losses in 151 games started and 193 games played. He completed 2761 passes (34th all-time) in 4640 attempts (35th all-time) for a 59.5 % completion percentage. He threw for 32,072 yards (41st all-time) with 184 touchdowns (52nd all-time) and 108 interceptions.
Brunell made the Pro Bowl 3 times (1996, 1997 and 1999) and led the Jaguars to the American Conference Championship game in 1998 and 1999. He was a member of the New Orleans Saints when the won the Super Bowl in 2010, although his only playing time as a the holder for field goals and extra points.
