Why Aren't There More Lefthanded Bowlers?

Parker Bohn III, Jason Couch, and Patrick Allen lead the way.

Cara Honeychurch, Tish Johnson, & Shannon Pluhowsky are the leading ladies.

The 2024 Professional Bowlers Association Tour

12 of the 58 active bowlers on the tour this year are lefthanded

including Parker Bohn with 42 career PBA titles, Jakob Butturff with 20 PBA titles,

Ryan Ciminelli with 11 PBA titles, and Jesper Svenson with 10 PBA titles.

Among the other 8 PBA Lefthanders,,,

Grahan Fach has 4 career wins,

Matt Russo, Matt Sanders, and Patrick Hanrahan have 2 each,

and Keven Williams, has 1 career win.

Kim Bolleby, Matthew McNeil, Michael Martell,

are the other 3 lefthanders playing the 2024 PBA Tour.

There 2024 PGA Tour ends in mid-September

and we'll provide updates as soon as it's over.

The 2024 Professional Womens Bowlers Association Tour

only 10 of the 145 active bowlers on the tour this year are lefthanded

Brianna Andrews, Laura Beuthner, Hayley Dann,

Nicole Kleutgen, Samantha Knight, Shannon Pluhowsky, Kayla Smith,

Cherie Tan, Felicia Wong, and Hayley Youcker.

The 2024 PWBA season ended recently,

and lefthanded bowlers won 3 of the 11 tournaments played.

Two of the those wins belong to Shannon Pluhowsky, giving her 4 career PBA Titles,

and the other one belongs to Cherie Tan, who now has five career wins.

None of the other 8 Women has a PWBA title to their credit.
